Invert Coaching

Being able to invert does not define you as a “good” pole dancer—far from it.

Nonetheless, it is still one of those skills that many people strive for. The key is truly understanding what is needed for an invert, where you currently are in that process, and how we can target your training to help you achieve this goal.

Direct coaching, time, and understanding are what this course is all about.
Small group sessions mean that we will get plenty of 1-1 on coaching, you’ll get to support eachother as a group, have the opportunity to truly understand where we are in our invert training, and identify the steps you need to take toward your ultimate invert goal.

There will be no pole tucks in sight—I promise.

As a certified Invert Ready Coach™ through the Marlo Fisken program, I am offering a unique opportunity to dive into the nitty-gritty details of inversions.
This small group coaching course will consist of five 90-minute sessions that will provide you with coordination tools, body positioning guidance, and strength drills to help you get upside down safely and sustainably.

Week 1: The foundations & body awareness

Week 2: Foundation building and smooth dismounts

Week 3: Building time upside down & understanding leg hooks

Week 4: Understanding momentum

Week 5: Bringing pieces together & individual coaching

Objectives of this course are:

● Demystified your inversions and gained an understanding of what is involved in getting you upside down on the pole.

● Build strength and awareness for top positions of your inversions.

● More awareness of your coordination and the habits that are within you.

● Give you options for entering and dismounting from your inverts with care.

Level: This is for beginners and beyond.

Prerequisite: This is beginner plus friendly. Experience with basic hand placement and leg grips is recommended.

Price: £155 for 5 weeks, 90 minutes sessions each week.

Sinful Series: Freed

4 workshops, 90 minutes each

11am - 6pm

(Including 1hr lunch break in the middle)

LUST

Tease with Shillo Amari.

Freestyling is an asset as a performer. In the club you may never know what you’re dancing to, the duration/genre - but you have bills to pay & limited clientele.

In competing you have the pressure of avoiding a mistake. A last minute gig opportunity means you must be prepared in short notice. Stay ready, and you won’t have to be ready.

Here we will explore the bridge between improvisation and performance with guided prompts, visualizations, and presence. This workshop focuses on utilizing the freedom of knowing yourself, music, and focusing on the qualities of freestyling with intention in diverse environments from the club to a competition and more, all while giving emotional depth, musical/lyrical connection and a powerful presence. You will be guided to deepen your ability to connect, communicate and adapt through freestyle movement to give a flawless performance for yourself and your audiences.

Suitable for all levels. Kneepads recommended, heels optional.

11am - 12.30pm

GREED

Embodiment & Characterisation with Holly Baker.

Have fun with freestyle! During this workshop we will explore a variety of embodiment prompts - from physical being to characterisation. You will be invited to take on different forms, physical qualities and character states - with the freedom of interpreting each prompt in your own way.

The focus here is on playful vibes, fun exploration and experimentation! Using character-based restrictions to spark enjoyment, unlock creativity and enjoy some freestyle play.

Suitable for all levels. Kneepads recommended, heels optional.

12.30pm - 2pm

ENVY

Freeform Dynamics with Eva Wilde

Freeform Dynamics is a freestyle workshop rooted in exploration. Using a short sequence as a foundation, you will investigate texture, levels, and looping through guided prompts and varieties in music. The focus is on freedom, adaptability and developing personal movement choices within structure.

Suitable for all levels. Kneepads recommended, heels optional.

3pm - 4.30pm

GLUTTONY

Indulgence with Shillo Amari.

Here we will honor ourselves, rooted in self-connection, pleasure, sensuality and personal s.gsuality. This space invites you to explore how mindset and lived circumstances influence the way we move and feel about ourselves.

We will start with a guided mobility/stability warm-up utilizing breath work and visualizing to align ourselves. Then through guided freestyle prompts, sensory exploration and reflection - you will reconnect with movement as an act of self-love with a focus on listening inward - allowing pleasure, softness and vulnerability to exist without judgment.

Plan to where layers where you have the balance of comfort and confidence weaved within them. Suitable for all levels. Kneepads recommended, heels optional.

Wilde Signature Collection: Low Mounts & Loving Dismounts (Online)

Eva’s Signature flowing static rotation low mounts. Encouraging choiceful and opportunity based mounts on to the pole. Mounts are the ways that we “get on” the pole, any time our feet are off the floor & we are suspended in the air. Dismounts are when we shift our weight back to the floor. We’ll focus on how not to give up in those very last moments & instead how to transfer our weight seamlessly between pole & floor.

The devil is in the details. We’ll be focusing on the energy transfers & oppositional forces when mounting the pole. Some of the techniques we will be covering here transfer directly to our movement on & around the pole. With these low mount techniques, we’ll cover some of the essentials of static rotations & finding new opportunities on static poles.

This workshop will find some opportunities to build on some of the movement principles we learnt within Continuous Motion & Flowing Floor Tricks workshops. Each session in this workshop collection compliments each other, and you will get more out of them if you choose to join more than one. It is not essential to have attended the previous workshop.

Wilde Signature Collection: Flowing Floor Trickery (Online)

Floor Play is one of Eva’s favorite pastime activities. We will be putting a spin on some of our traditional pole-assisted Jades, Shoulderstands & Shoulder rolls and explore variety within the tricks, entrances and exits.

The focus of this workshop will be the techniques of these tricks. When the body lacks awareness & coordination, it limits our ability to safely create variations & options to flow into desired shapes from various positions.

We will be weaving these approaches into our flow, building a repertoire of floor movement vocabulary.

This workshop will build upon some of the movement principles we learnt within the Continuous Motion workshop, spending time visiting our standing to floor work transitions and incorporating our newly gained choiceful floor tricks.

Each session in this workshop collection compliments each other, and you will get more out of them if you choose to join more than one. It is not essential to have attended the previous workshop.

1-2-1 online

I strive to provide my students with tools and experience to build awareness of their own body and its capability. To build the confidence to move and keep moving regardless of the mental hoops we put ourselves through.

I encourage self-reflection and feedback when students learn, building the ability to self-assess progress & guide them through the necessary steps to grow into a mover they desire.

Taking on a non-linear approach to teaching, my supportive coaching style leans heavily towards building the right foundations to work on your strength and coordination for your desired goals. I take pride in helping my students build the confidence and competence to help them achieve their goals.
